Who these terms cover
These terms cover the Zeode website and apps and services that link to this page. “Zeode”, “we” and “us” mean Zeode Software Design. You can contact us at support@zeode.com.
Use our software and services in accordance with these terms and any app-specific licence. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. A separate agreement for client development work takes precedence for that work.
App licences
Apps are licensed to you, rather than sold. For an app downloaded from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement applies unless the app's listing supplies a custom licence. That licence governs your use of the app and takes precedence if it conflicts with this page.
Zeode and its licensors retain ownership of the software, artwork and other material we provide. Your licence does not transfer those rights to you. Open-source components and third-party material keep their own licences and notices.
Purchases and subscriptions
Any app price, in-app purchase or subscription is shown before you buy it. Purchases through the App Store are processed by Apple under its payment terms; we do not receive your payment-card details.
If you choose an automatically renewing subscription, its price and billing period are shown in the purchase screen. Manage or cancel it through your Apple Account's subscription settings. Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests for App Store purchases go through Apple.
A free trial, tester benefit or other promotion is subject to the terms shown with that offer. An offer does not change an existing App Store subscription unless it explicitly says so.
Your content and accounts
You keep ownership of content you add, such as notes, photos, recipes, lists and other records. When you use a feature that stores, synchronizes or shares that content, you allow us and the providers involved to process it for that feature. This permission does not give us ownership of your content.
Only upload or share material you have the right to use. Sharing a list, library, bar or link gives its recipients access to the information included in it. Copies they have already received may remain after you remove your copy.
Keep account passwords, recovery credentials, API keys and device-pairing credentials private. Use the app's account and sharing controls to remove access you no longer want. Tell us if you believe a Zeode account or service has been used without your permission.
Using our services
Do not use our services to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, harass others, distribute malicious content, bypass access controls or disrupt the service. Do not access an account, database or device without its owner's permission.
We may restrict access to a service when reasonably necessary to address abuse, protect its users or comply with law. Where practical, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact us about it. This does not remove any rights you have under applicable law or your app licence.
Other services and information
Some features use Apple services, content providers, websites, connected devices or services you choose to connect. Their availability and their own terms apply to your use of them. We cannot control content or services supplied by someone else.
Forecasts, beach observations, recipes, reference material and generated suggestions can be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Use your judgement and check the source when an important decision depends on them. Beach forecasts are not a substitute for posted warnings or current conditions. Nursing records are for personal record-keeping and do not replace medical advice.
If you use a database tool or query assistant, review a query before executing it. You are responsible for having permission to access the database and for protecting its contents. Keep suitable backups before making changes.
Beta software
TestFlight and other beta builds are unfinished software. They may contain bugs, change between builds, lose data or stop working when a build expires. Keep a separate copy of information you need. Apple's TestFlight terms also apply to TestFlight testing.
If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to investigate problems and improve the software. Any tester offer is described with your invitation or joining instructions.
Availability and your rights
We may update features, fix problems or discontinue an app or service. We do not promise uninterrupted service or continued compatibility with every operating system, device or external provider.
Warranties, liability and remedies for an App Store app are governed by its applicable licence and law. Nothing on this page excludes a warranty, refund, remedy or other consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We will update the date on this page when these terms change. Where a change materially affects an account or paid service, we will give notice through an appropriate channel. Changes do not override rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
